Darth_Luisito Overcomes Deficit to Deny SMP Andyroro in Spain

In three tiebreak sets, Darth_Luisito captured his first tour championship, surviving a stiff test from a hard serving SMP Andyroro in the final of the Pozoblanco challenger, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6.

The victorious Spaniard improved to 17-13 by capturing the hard court title. In defeat, SMP Andyroro was denied what would have been his first career championship, his 2010 match record still on the plus side at 12-11.

Darth_Luisito: “Very close match. Both players were very even. None of both lost their service. In the first tiebreak, SMP broke several times my serve. In the second tiebreak, it was enough once ball for breaking his serve to equal the encounter. In the last tiebreak, I was able to break his service, in the 4-4, but he returned me the break. With 5-5, and with my serve, SMP could be made with the point after a long fight. With 6-5, I was lucky and I could break his for last time. Congratulation to SMP for the excellent championship that he has carried out.”
