Packos Overcomes GSM Challenge, Wins Unicef Open

Packos was tested in the final of the Unicef Open, however the budding Polish star was not to be denied, turning aside GSM to claim the ITST 250 grass court crown in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

The victory left the rising World No. 10 with a record of 34-19. The championship hardware will sit next to the ITST Open trophy (2009) on Packos’ now crowded mantel.

By falling in his second career final (no titles) Israel's GSM stumbled to 21-24.
