In straight sets Womanizer captured his first tour crown, defeating Jeremyalive in the title match of the Orleans, France hard court challenger, 6-3, 7-6. Womanizer is quietly making a name for himself on the tour as the fast-improving Spaniard, ranked 47th globally, is now 28-31 for the season.
By failing to corral what would have been his first career championship, Jeremyalive stumbled to 5-4.
WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID
Womanizer: “I am very happy to have finally won my first title. Jeremyalive is a good player, but I've taken advantage of the opportunities I've had.” More Men's Singles News: · Norberto Too Good for Anteros15, Wins Australian Open (06 Feb'10 - 12:17) · Anteros15 Topples Picachu211 in Straights, Advances to Oz Open Final (05 Feb'10 - 17:40) · Coolhand Texas Rallies to Deny ILuvBillVal First Title (29 Jan'10 - 20:54) · Swifty512 Outlasts Mack2300 in Brisbane (21 Jan'10 - 06:46) · Norberto Digs Out of Hole, Clips Coolhand in Qatar Final (21 Jan'10 - 06:24)
